Trying to give a single source to cycle through the pics... Some that weren't included in posts... However...
Looks like another BMaC issue... Uploading a few (I hope) else this will likely take a few times.
(and it has... But it's working. 🤬🫤)
Overview... The first pic was the inspiration... The "how cool is THIS?! I'd love to have a badass guitar like this!" from my friend, Jo...
Little did we know at the time, it was AI generated (if you zoom in you can see some "hallucinations" as they are called... Issues with reality, which seems accurate with "hallucination".)
However, undeterred... I made it a reality... She didn't think I was serious and forgot about it. It was a lot of work but... #worthit #shesworthit
I used a few of her tattoos as inspiration for the fret markers... The cherry blossom decals weren't doing it for me. Had I ever carved into a fretboard before?
No.
Why let that stop me now? Little else with this project was something I'd done before this.
This is the photo dump off that process, experience, and result.
And that result?
She was floored... Got back to me that it sounds... I'm going to say "monstrous" because this is a family friendly place! LoL
I hope you enjoy and challenge yourself to make something cool that seemingly can't be real.
