PROJECT 3.24 July Update (3.24: COMPLETE!)

Jul 20, 2025

It's been a while since I've had the time to work on this guitar... But here it is after working on it the past few days.

Had a few life issues that took me off the path for a bit... Some were less than good, but others were great. One was another project I'd been working on in tandem.

However, I lost track of time and my friend, Jo, is in NC this weekend and her birthday was July 4th... So obviously, this is the time to give it to her.

It needs a final detail... Complete with white gloves to ensure it's oil free. (Let me just say that this guitar loves fingerprints, and whatever you don't want on it... It's all but attracts toddlers with red ice pops and dirty hands!)

In all seriousness... I'm proud of how it came out and I know I could spend a month nit-picking things where I feel it's less than perfect (it's what I do and leads to paralysis through analysis). I have find that cyclically feeds into my Imposter Syndrome... "Never good enough... What am I even doing here? I don't belong here!"

Listen... We get into our own heads sometimes, and frankly... I've lived so much of my life in great fear of disappointing SOMEONE (I am not even sure who... Because I don't think it's really a matter of letting myself down; unless it's based on external stimuli/opinion.) Welcome to WHY Seann has never really performed in front of anyone. Fear.

So... Here I am... And here I come.

Onto the next project and act of kindness... But also, I'm going to try to start putting out some other works and maybe even collaborations... So I hope you'll follow along.

And if I'm here alone... So be it... I'll look back on this one day (maybe) and be able to say "damn... I've come a long way since then" ... But hey future me - get off your ass and start doing because you're worth it and this life is worth investing into and striving after adventure, rather than safety and boredom.

Like you tell the kids when they say "I'm bored..."

"There is no boredom in life... Just lazy/boring people who are afraid to be creative and use their imagination."

And without further ado... Jo's guitar!!!

(I'll put some final details into another post that has the electronic components I went with and wiring details... I initially wrote this at 2am last night... way past my bedtime and BuyMeACoffee was not being cooperative!)image
