June through September are often quieter months in the church year. This reflects on social media platforms. Many (online) organists focus their activities around Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter, when there is a natural demand for seasonal music.
My channel has always followed a slightly different path. Rather than focusing primarily on the major feasts, I enjoy exploring the vast world of forgotten organ music, charming miniatures, hidden gems and composers who deserve to be heard again.
And there is no shortage of music to discover. In fact, I sometimes feel I’ve only scratched the surface.
So while the summer months may be quieter in the organ world, you can still expect your daily dose of musical inspiration here. There are many more treasures waiting to be shared.
