Integrative Healthcare has been my life's work. Now I am retired from practice and teaching for health reasons and am taking the chance to write about my experiences. I am sharing earlier writings on my website Integrative Healthcare, reflecting my 50 years of research, practice, teaching and exploration, and offering new material on Medium.com.

I write about holism and integrative practice, and various aspects of Holistic Contemporary Acupuncture. In particular I follow research into using acupuncture for Plantar Heel Pain (aka Plantar Fasciitis). I wrote the only book (so far) on this subject and I plan to review new studies as they are published.

Some of my stuff is historical, some philosophical, some with practical implications. More recently, I am writing creatively – poems and stories, memoir or made up.

Shortly after I retired, someone suggested I had Asperger’s, so I have been exploring that possibility and looking back at my life from that new perspective.
