A proposito di Ricardo Herrera
composing and playing music
I am a mexican self-taught pianist, percussionist, composer and arranger, and graphic design enthusiast, born –and currently living– in Morelia, Michoacan, México. I am also my own graphic designer.
I learnt to play keyboard since age 8, although I had my first contact with an acoustic piano till age 15 at high school.
I started composing –for the love of it– at age 20. My compositions are mainly inside the instrumental, acoustic, 'solo piano' and classical-contemporary genres, although I do like to explore into New Age and Smooth-Jazz genres as well.
I published my first album «One Letter» in year 2017, followed by my other albums «Domino» (2018) and «Albatross» (2019), recorded at Labyrinth Studio, premiered live at the Nicholaitian Auditorium and published as independent projects.
Since making an income out of local performing arts is often challenging, your donations/tips support me a great deal on keeping up with my musical journey, while they also let me know someone's listening. As such, your support is highly appreciated :)
