What Are You Actually Buying?
Stop Long Enough to Discover What You're Really Searching For

Have you ever bought a course, program, book, planner, app, piece of equipment - or the next promising thing - thinking:

Maybe this is it.

Maybe this will finally help me get organized, finish what I started, feel better, move forward, or become the person I keep knowing I could be.

Then... you don't finish it.
Or barely begin.

Eventually, something else catches your attention.

There it is again:

Maybe THIS is it.

But what if the thing you're searching for isn't actually the thing you're buying?

What Are You Actually Buying? is a gentle exploration of the pattern that can keep us searching for the next answer - and of what we may discover when we stop long enough to become curious about what's happening within it.

This isn't about telling you to stop buying things, and it isn't going to tell you what your pattern means.

Instead, the booklet offers a way to notice, follow, and explore your own pattern - including a series of questions that may help you discover what you are actually searching for.

You'll also find prompts for using AI as an interactive questioning partner, allowing the exploration to respond to your answers rather than leading you through a predetermined questionnaire.

From there, you'll explore:

NOTICE → FOLLOW → DISCOVER → UPDATE → EXPERIENCE

  • not as another system you have to master, but as a way of creating enough space inside something that often happens automatically for another response to become possible.

Because sometimes the behavior you're trying hardest to change...

isn't where the pattern begins.

Before you buy the next answer, perhaps it's worth stopping long enough to discover what you're really searching for.
