In Our Hearts: We All Hold Onto Memories

In Our Hearts: We All Hold Onto Memories

Mar 28, 2025

Memories can be a beautiful kind of pain.

They take us back to times when we felt truly alive—those moments filled with love, happiness, and peace. We hold onto them because they remind us of what once was, what we once had. But sometimes, they hurt just as much as they heal. We want to go back to those moments, but we can’t.

I know it’s hard. Every day, you’re creating new memories, some that make you smile and others you wish you could forget. You might be holding on to something from the past, something that’s hard to let go. And I understand.

Some memories heal us.

Some memories tear us apart.

Some give us hope.

Some leave us feeling empty.

Some remind us of what we’ve lost.

Others remind us of victories we’re trying to hold onto.

Memories bring color to our lives, but sometimes, we want them to stay in the past and stop haunting us. That memory you’re thinking of right now? I get it. It’s something you want to hold on to, but maybe it’s time to let it breathe or let it go.
