I'm 24 and I'm currently majoring in Japanese studies. Going to study in Japan and live there for a long period of time has always been my dream! I tried to apply for my university’s exchange program and I got chosen to go to Keio University for one semester 🥹 (I still can’t believe it). The problem is that at the moment I don’t have enough financial resources to do so…I recently lost my job due to covid and lack of raw material (I used to design molds for plastic objects), so in order to have an income I decided to start a part-time job, which gives me the possibility to work and study at the same time. It’s not a job that I enjoy doing, but I need it in order to go to study in Japan. And that’s another reason why my dream of going there became an even more meaningful dream! Because I feel that this experience can be the beginning of the path that will lead me to a future job in my field of study that I really enjoy.
