Hi and thanks for checking out my page!
I have been living in Italy most of my life (certainly all of my adult life!) I have tons of interests including painting, wine (I'm a sommelier), history, crafts, cooking, video making...
I started a YouTube channel to show what life is really like in Italy for foreigners, as social media doesn't always give the full and honest picture. I interview different people who have moved to Italy and I aim at showing every region of this unique country (warts and all), from the perspective of foreigners that have made the move from whichever corner of the world they originate.
It takes a lot of time (which I fit in between two 'real' jobs) usually spread over a week, between recording, editing and uploading (the joys of rural internet connections in Italy!). To give you the most diverse possible vision of what life in Italy is really like, I travel to different regions. I'd like to cover all 20 regions of Italy eventually. Where possible I travel by train (faster and kinder to the atmosphere) and I often take a gift, or offer lunch to the people I host on my videos as well as help them promote what they would like me to promote, ie their BnB, their book. Each video can cost me anything from 30 - 150 euros to make!!
I'll always create my content regardless of donations, but I really appreciate your support. It's nice to know someone cares!
