About Bill Wendel
educating, enlightening, empowering & enriching real estate consumers
When @RealEstateCafe opened in 1995, we were the 1st walk-in, cybercafe for real estate in the world! At the time, a client joked that we could make more selling coffee than being a buyer agent / fee-for-service real estate consultant.
Nearly three decades & 30,000+ Tweets later, we've concluded he was probably right.
But we're still championing money-saving real estate reforms and have rebated over $1.2M to our self-reliant, DIY homebuyer clients:

This weekend marks the 30th anniversary of the Consumer Revolution in Real Estate (4/2-3/93). The two-day national conference in Boston featured 30 panelists & keynotes by Ralph Nader & Stephen Brobeck, then Executive Director of the Consumer Federation of America. And it was pre-internet!
We're delighted that headlines this past year are recognizing the need for a revolution in real estate. Want to talk about it over coffee or buy one so we can continue our mission - help consumers save BILLIONS of dollars annually. Which headline would you like to discuss?
