I write Richard's Rants, now a Substack, which is about nothing, which is everything. I do not paywall my content, I find doing that distasteful enough, but more importantly it is antithetical to what my writing is for--sharing ideas, jokes, notions, and occasionally rants with others. Selling isn't sharing. But, if you want to put some coin in my pocket, that's cool. I do the same for people who do things I appreciate.
