I have been reading tarot for ten years now. I have always had a love for psychology, deep thinking, and self reflection. I am very much a Jungian and a lover of Joseph Campbell.

I have had a facination with the card for as long as I can remember. But it wasnt until later in life that I decided to shuffle a deck. A deep sprirual awakening-soul death-took place and I began feeling as though I could sense something beyond the veil. Hear it, in a way. At first, I didn't know what to make of this voice, this whisper in my ear.

Something was clearly trying to speak with me. I refused to touch a spirit board at the time. So, I did the only thing I knew how. I took to the cards and bought my first deck.

I knew nothing about nothing.

And the deck I chose was nothing like traditonal tarot. But I myself am anything but traditional in many waya so this was of no shock to me or anone who knows me.

I did everything the whisper guided me to do with them. I did not look at them or their images. I did not familiarize myself with the meanings. I just carried them everywhere. Slept with them near me. Allowed them to bask in the sun. For days I did this until that whisper once again told me it was time.

I'll never forget that strange experience in the middle of the night in my garage. Words cannot describe what happened. But that was the night a skeptic turned into a believer. And it was the beining of a journey I never would have thought would bring me here.
