The Rap Yard Podcast is about putting a spotlight on the voices that built hip-hop and the ones carrying it forward. My mission is to give artists a space to tell their story, to give them their flowers, and bring some unity across sub-genres, regions and generations. I hope to be a platform that uplifts rather than divides. Finally, it’s also a space where hip hop heads can commune and kick back, in their own back yard.

Each interview, episode, and documentary takes research, recording, and hours of editing, and in some cases money out of my own pocket. I do it out of my love of the music, and because these stories matter. I’m fully independent, which means community support is what keeps this podcast alive and growing. If there’s anything I can do to make this a more engaging, enjoyable or robust community, I’m always open to ideas.

If Rap Yard has given you something - whether that’s insight, entertainment, or exposure to new music - please consider supporting. Every contribution helps keep this podcast going, and growing.

Your support means everything, and it’s the reason Rap Yard can keep moving forward. Thank you 🫡💜✌️
