2025 has been a really significant year of my life in more ways than one. I started the year feeling lost, unsure of a visual direction, working on my grad portfolio. What followed was a year of pushing past comfort zones, experimenting, failing, learning, and slowly finding my voice (maybe?) - I genuinely hope my work reflects that honesty.
This year was heavy in ways I didn’t expect. I hit rock bottom more than once, and I wouldn’t have made it through without my friends. Grateful to everyone who worked with me and believed in my work - I’m so lucky to have the privilege to make art with such incredible people.
All of this while the world felt like it was burning inside out. Watching Palestine burn, watching violence, loss, and injustice this year has unfolded - it shifted something in me, I have been questioning the purpose of making art, the weight of images, and where I stand as an artist in moments like these.
To everyone who was kind to me this year - thank you. It mattered more than you’ll ever know.
Grateful to survive another year around the sun. Grateful to be alive and making art.
