Hi! I'm Jess Huch, the brain behind RainyCryptid.
Aside from my work as an artist, I'm also currently getting a BA in psychology and hoping to become a clinical social worker (talk therapist) in the future. I'm passionate about hearing people's stories, helping them along their journeys of healing.
So, I've taken the daunting leap into completing my work as a full time artist while working my way through college. It's a scary but exciting time.
As a college student, I'm no stranger to frozen burritos and late hours studying... plus, a good portion of these classes will be paid out of pocket.
