I served for decades (still serving), eventually burning myself out trying to fight against authoritarians, criminals, corrupt politicians, and opportunists. Settling into a calmer lifestyle, all of the stress peeled away to reveal trauma, doubt, family fractures, and economic struggle. YEARS of it.
Then the coup attempt happened. I’m exhausted, beat up, and totally unprepared, but I’ve still got my integrity. And if you knew me, you’d know that I’ve risked my career, my financial wellbeing, and my safety to tell the truth. I haven’t always won, but people remembered my name when I was done.
What I’ll Offer
Top priority is to offer a glimpse into what a Federal employee, particularly a lower middle class family man with half a brain, is going through as the U.S. faces one of its largest threats: an authoritarian President and his gaggle of sycophants and ‘fraidy cats. As I gather resources and information, I will attempt to pass it directly to you. That includes explaining to you how my family and I plant our feet and RESIST.
I’m particularly interested in highlighting why things are the way they are. It’s important to stay out of the flooded “zone” of headlines and cut to the people and policies that conspire against the working class and average everyday American citizens.
