Hey everyone, rafcarlosaid here! Excited to finally share my experience on the famous Golden Triangle of India, exploring Jaipur, Agra, and Delhi. This adventure is a simultaneous trip to Sri Lanka, marking my second visit to a South Asian country!

DAY 1 🇮🇳: Chennai & Flight to Jaipur

DAY 2 🇮🇳: Jaipur (Day 1)

Jaipur Tips & Guide:
Alot at least 2 days in Jaipur to explore the whole new & old city. An additional 1 day for other places outside Registan.
There is a metro station available in Jaipur; however, take note that not all attractions are near train stations.
City Palace — Take a photo of the famous Season doors inside the palace. Jantar Mantar — it's best to visit the place early morning or afternoon to avoid the massive heat. Amber Fort — take at least half a day to visit the fort. It is a huge place perfect to know the places inside, and all take photos at the most scenic spots.
Pink City is one of the old cities of Jaipur. It homes to almost everything you can have. Also, silk & dye products are available here.
Visit Hawa Mahal in the Morning. There is a coffee shop that is right next to the facade. It is also one of the must-see places at night.

Albert Hall Museum is the oldest museum in Rajasthan and one of Jaipur's most beautiful landmarks, known for its Indo-Saracenic architecture, royal artifacts, and a famous Egyptian mummy.
If you have the opportunity to explore the Pink City, take some time to visit its old mosques, places of worship, and the many local shops scattered throughout the city.
DAY 4 🇮🇳: Agra (Taj Mahal)

Agra Tips & Guide:
You can have a day or two in Agra. The tour usually ends at noon if you start a morning visit to the Taj Mahal. Agra is a small place, and there are limited attractions to visit besides Agra.
The Taj Mahal entrance fee is. There is also a train station near the gates of the Taj Mahal. If you are near a train station, you can ride the train. The Agra Fort also has a nearby station.
DAY 5 🇮🇳: Agra (Rest Day)

New Delhi Tips & Guide:
Take a Rickshaw ride at the old market in the morning. You will witness or see a local scene in Delhi with a busy market selling almost everything.
Raj Ghat is the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, set within a peaceful park that honors his legacy. It's a quick stop where visitors can pay their respects and take photos of the memorial.The
Lotus Temple can be very crowded, especially in the afternoon. Take note that it is not allowed to enter the infrastructure. Only photo ops are the activity here.
Qutub Minar is 30 minutes away from the new city. You can visit here in the Morning as it is not yet crowded at that time.
India Gate can also be crowded in the afternoon, especially locals taking a photo opportunity on the arch and the park.
DAY 7 🇮🇳: New Delhi (Free Day)

New Delhi Tips & Guide:
It’s easy to explore New Delhi on your own. Ride-hailing apps are available to almost any destination, whether it’s from the old city or the new city. Just make sure to check the places you’re visiting.
It could be very chaotic in both cities, so prepare yourself!
Cannought Place is an ideal destination for travelers seeking luxury. The place offers a wide range of high-end brands and diverse food options, from fast food to local Indian restaurants and international cuisine.
Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is a very busy place. Take note that this is a public place for healing believers. Many people visit the waters for spiritual healing.
DAY 8 🇮🇳: Flight Back
Flight back to Manila with a layover in Hanoi.
General Guide
Philippine passport holders are visa-free, but you still need to apply for an e-Visa online upon entry. It's best to apply for the visa one week before your intended trip. You can apply through this link: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html
For a safer and smoother trip, it's best to hire a tour guide and/or driver. There are various group tours available on Facebook.
There are many affordable 2-3-star hotels. It's best to book within the city or nearby cities for a more comfortable stay and a safer environment.
e-SIMs are available in India. The common communication apps are WhatsApp or LINE, so you can use your local account to contact your guide or locals.
Food & Hygiene
Avoid drinking tap water in most hotels. Use bottled water even for brushing your teeth.
If you think you cannot handle street food in India, better not try it to avoid any diarrhea or stomach problems.
There are also decent restaurant or family restaurants that serves great indian food options.
There are limited known fast food chains in Delhi and Jaipur, none in Agra.
Roaming around
The Maxim app is commonly used for taxis and motorcycle taxis. Make sure to carry enough cash, as some drivers may not provide change.
Old cities offer a more local scene, while new cities provide a more modern experience.
Getting Money
Withdrawing cash is the best way to get Indian Rupees. Conversion rates are fair for Philippine Banks, with minimal fees for international cards.
