TIPS & GUIDE
IDEAL FLIGHT
It is recommended to arrive in Singapore and depart from Kuala Lumpur, or vice versa. You may need to adjust the itinerary to start your journey from KL to SG.
JEWEL CHANGI TIPS
The train inside the airport is complimentary. For the best experience, consider visiting Jewel Changi in the morning before your early flight or at night before your return flight.
The Rain Vortex is open from 10 AM to 10 PM, with a captivating light show in the evening.
Explore a variety of activities AT Jewel Changi that you can book using the Klook app. (Don't forget to use my voucher code RAFCARLOSAID for a 3% discount.)
SG CITY TIPS
Singapore is a pedestrian-friendly city, so get ready for long walks and remember to bring water to stay hydrated. Even though water bottles are readily available in Singapore, they can be expensive.
Trains are the most convenient mode of transportation to explore various locations in Singapore.
If Visiting Fort Canning Tunnel, it is advisable to visit at the earliest time. Alight at Dhoby Ghaut MRT and proceed to the start of the tunnel at Fort Canning Link.
VISITING SENTOSA
When visiting Sentosa Island, a distinctive experience is riding the cable car, which is one of the best experiences in Singapore.
You can purchase tickets for attractions like Universal Studios Singapore, Madame Tussauds, Cable Car, and more through the Klook app as well. (Don't forget to use my voucher code RAFCARLOSAID for a 3% discount.)
SINGAPORE TO KUALA LUMPUR
I booked my land bus ride from Easybook.com for around Php 1,500 one way.
The best option is to book at night to avoid long immigration traffic jams and lines. It will only take you 3 hours to reach KL from Singapore.
KL CITY TIPS
I opted for the hop-on hop-off bus during my visit to Kuala Lumpur as it's a convenient way to explore the city. Just avoid rush hour as some drop-off points may not be accessible.
Using the pass in the morning until around 3 PM is best. Passes can be 24 hours or 48 hours.
VISITING BATU CAVES
For the best experience, visit the cave in the morning to avoid crowds of tourists.
Opting for the KTM Commuter train from Sentral Station is the ideal choice if you are planning a self-guided trip there.
VISITING LEGOLAND FOR A DAY
suppose you are planning a day tour in Legoland Malaysia since this is near the Singapore border. In that case, I suggest booking a roundtrip bus from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia & vice-versa.
As much as possible buy tickets in advance or online as there are long queues for admission tickets.
