Hello! I'm Scott, a Software Engineer from the UK.

I'm currently building radius.to, a better alternative to Meetup.com and Eventbrite.

The two goals of Radius:-

1. To have a platform that includes every kind and size of group/community with an always-free option.

2. To make finding things to do easier and seamless, making it easy to find others with the same interests, fostering community growth and human interaction.

There's a big world of interesting things happening out there which are currently very easy to miss if you're not subscribed to the right Twitter/Facebook/whatever page.

The project is currently bootstrapped/self-funded. I plan to introduce paid features soon, though aim to always have a free option to be more inclusive of smaller & non-profit groups who aren't well served by Meetup's pricing.

Radius is being built with the mighty Ruby on Rails, and development is currently heavily reliant on coffee! Any support you or your organization can offer would be hugely appreciated!
