Hello readers and listeners, my name is franklin. My dream has always been to run a radio station ever since I was ten years old, more on that in just a bit. I want to share some thoughts on a certain topic.
Any thought on social media algorithms? Every individual has their own path. For me, my philosophy for sharing content is that I don't need to force my message into people's feeds (boosting $$). If it reaches someone naturally, then perhaps they were the person who needed to see it. There's actually something very freeing about that mindset.
A lot of people post with expectations: How many likes? How many shares? Why didn't more people see it? After posting many types of activities over the years, and on several sm platforms, my approach changed. The goal shifted from getting attention to offering something of value. Once it's out there, I have done my part.
You might view it as planting seeds. You don't always know where they land or whether they'll grow. Sometimes a post gets a lot of engagement and yet it changes nothing. Other times a post reaches one person at exactly the right moment and you never hear about it.
I believe in the connection to RadioUnited-the Spirit of the SongBirds broadcasting station... I have not even finished breakfast goals yet, (heck I'm still enjoying my cup of sweet Italian cream coffee) and still have lunch, dinner, and a late night snack to go. I am so happy to be here now, spending time sharing music, stories, and memories from the heart, and I don't know who might be listening at any given moment. Yet somewhere out there, someone may just hear a song that helps them get through a difficult day, or reminds them of a loved one, or simply gives them a reason to smile.

Not everything meaningful can be measured by numbers. Now if I have not lost you at this point (grinning) hear my final closing. I tell myself that you never know how far a ripple will travel once it leaves the shore. A post, a song, a kind word, a memory from childhood, or even a quick update about music news can become that ripple.
This song has some relevance in my life, and perhaps you the same...
