For a long time, I was a collector of peculiar trades. I've charted seas of ink and steel, taught thinking machines their manners, and served as a lighthouse keeper for fleets of wandering data. I've been a professional untangler of knotted phone lines and a librarian for invisible things. I even learned to play symphonies on keyboards of ivory and bone.
