Rand Law: Author, Martial Artist, Master of Adventure
Hello, I’m glad you’re here. My name is R.D. Lawrence (Rand Law is my pen name for my fictional stories). So you might wonder what happens when the warrior, the storyteller, and the dreamer meet?
Tuesdays start with The Dream Walker podcast, a short voice message, and a blog. Then on Thursdays, there's the Tokoshi Kempo blog. The podcast is a vocal update covering everything from Mystic Dream Walker book updates to UFO news, martial arts chats, music, and the unknown. There may even be a new upcoming action role-playing game tentatively titled The Dream Walkers?
I wrote the Mystic Dream Walker series and The Tokoshi Kempo Student Handbook and Instructor's Manual. I’ve spent most of my life writing stories and training in martial arts; I have also had what others have called mystic experiences from childhood into my senior years. On the surface, these may seem like different paths. They aren’t. They all focus on awareness, discipline, and learning to navigate uncertainty without losing your center. This list is simple by design. It sometimes offers a humorous insight into a writer's life, UFO sightings, and updates from the Mystic Dream Walker series, including audiobook releases as they unfold and possibly a new action role-playing game, The Dream Walkers, in the works.

Martial Path: The Tokoshi Kempo page explores practical ideas, principles, and reflections drawn from lifelong training, things that are meant to be practiced, not just read. As always, you’re welcome to reply and ask questions here about my books (that Tom Manson, sensei, loves), martial arts, or the writing life itself. I read everything and respond as quickly as I can. If you enjoy the work and want to support it, you can always buy me a coffee—no obligation, no pressure. The work continues either way. For now, settle in. Read what resonates. Ignore what doesn’t.
We walk this path one step at a time.
