My name is R.D. Lawrence, although Rand Law is my pen name for fiction. So what happens when the warrior, the storyteller, and the dreamer all meet? Apparently, I write books and end up writing a blog with audio messages (a new feature).
Although I had to stick to the blog part, which was forced on us this week because of an equipment malfunction. The air-conditioning motor decided to give up the ghost, and the resulting fan noise made recording impossible. Ironically, those fans were also the only thing making 90-plus-degree heat remotely tolerable. So, until the recording equipment—and the AC—are back in fighting shape, here we are!

Together, the audio message and blog will explore adventure stories, the upcoming action role-playing game tentatively titled The Dream Walkers, UFO encounters and discussions, martial arts, music, strategy, unusual instruments, and whatever else wanders into the unknown.
I hope this weekly audio message and blog eventually feel a little like home. I’m your host, Rand Law, author of the Mystic Dream Walker series. Pull up a chair, tune in, and let’s see where the journey takes us.
Whether you’re a remote viewer who likes to peek into the multiverse, a lucid dreamer soaring through your own visions, a martial artist exploring strategy and movement, or simply someone who enjoys a good reading adventure, you’ve come to the right place—or at least I hope you have!

Because what’s life without a little musical flair?
As we venture further, I’ll share some of my experiences with Kempo and my fascination with strategy. Speaking of strategy, what better place to practice it than an action role-playing game? The two run parallel in my brain like old friends meeting at a very strange coffee shop, rolling dice and comparing battle plans.
I can’t help but chuckle at the thought. Who knew bruises, martial arts, metaphysical questions, and strategy games could all belong to the same afternoon?
And, of course, I’d love to hear about your UFO experiences.

I’ve woven many of my own experiences into the plots of the Mystic Dream Walker series. Naturally, fiction gives me plenty of room to alter timelines, locations, people, and circumstances. I often blend different people and situations together, creating something new from pieces of the old.
