I'm an English woman who's been living in Portugal for over 20 years. A pioneer, a dreamer, and a manifestor. Being idealistic, creative, spontaneous, fuelled by a million ideas, and possibly a little delusional about my own limits, has led me on many adventures and I'm just about to embark on another one - the solo adventure of becoming the guardian of Quinta Regadias, a smallholding with native woodland, a stream, a river, and 3 stone ruins. Just after I took on the property, it burnt in a huge forest fire, so the restoration is now a little more challenging,

There are many small steps to take in the regeneration of the quinta, especially so in the aftermath of the fire. Priorities have changed, and the budget has been stretched. Curveballs have and will continue to be thrown my way, and adventures and side quests are most definitely a part of this life - often unexpected and usually bringing much joy (or at least somewhat hysterical laughter).

It´d be awesome if you´re drawn to follow my wanderings and wonderings, buy a tree for the quinta, or even subscribe to a membership to travel alongside me on this new journey. It's going to be hard work, fun, and likely far exceed all our expectations in ways we could never have imagined. I'd love to have you along for the ride.

Once facilities are in place there will be opportunities for others to experience the magic the quinta and the surroundings have to offer - to relax and connect with nature, bathe in the forest and the river, meditate or practise yoga on a huge boulder, or go off on a spontaneous adventure. Supporters will of course be the first to be invited.
