Reaching

Jun 26, 2022

Stretching out my hand,

Reaching for their touch,

It hurts living without them,

I need them so much.

With life passing me by,

Time ticks and tocks away,

The longer I go without them,

The more I weaken and fade.

Your voices are in my head,

They comfort but only so far,

Whenever I need to see them,

I'll look up at the stars.

So now when I reach out,

Or whenever I'm feeling low,

I'll disappear with that family,

The one I'll never let go.
