Highlight of My Life - Brutaliteas

Highlight of My Life - Brutaliteas

Apr 17, 2024

Hello! :-)

Please forgive my absence on here. No need to go into my life story, instead we are going to hit the ground running and get into this new blog post. :-)

So, seeing that it's been a while since I last published a post highlighting a particular coffee shop or tea company, I figured why not bring this back with one of my favorite tea companies out there, Brutaliteas. I was hyping them up for a while there and they really are the "highlight of my life," so why not; especially since I tried their other Valentine's Day tea (the violet-almond one) and I want to review it here.

I really don't think I can say enough about how delicious their teas are. I've tried five of theirs so far, including the one mentioned in this post, and none of them have been bad. However, I think what I love most about them are (one) they're a company based around horror movies and rock music; (two) their teas are legit; and (three) they donate to local charities, especially dog rescues.

Seriously, you can't get any better than all of that! :-)

Now, when I say their teas are legit...well, just take a look at the photos from when I reviewed their Bananabelle tea, when I did one of their Limited-Edition Valentine's Day tea, and below as I discuss their other Valentine's Day tea, the violet and almond one. Take a look at the pictures with the tea on a spoon. See how gorgeous those teas look?! I mean, seriously, you can see everything. There's no guessing if anything else was added because most likely, nothing else was.

As I mentioned above, I do want to take a moment and discuss their second Limited-Edition Valentine's Day tea, violet and almond. When they posted on their social media (Facebook; Instagram) back toward the end of January about their new Valentine's Day blends, and I saw what the flavors were, I knew immediately that I was going to get them and try them for you. :-) (I don't mind making these sacrifices! Hahaha!)

The first one (the chocolate, blueberry, lavender, black tea) was amazing and this one (the violet, almond, black tea) is just as good. You're getting that earthy, burnt taste of the black tea (which is Ceylon black tea, by the way) as well as a hint of the sweetness from the almonds (and there are legit almond slices, as you can see in the photo below) and a hint of floral from the violet. However, it's not overly floral. It's not like your drinking a bottle of perfume, which I think by now you know how much I hate. It's a lot more delicate than that and a little sweet, as well.

Tasting violet reminds me of tasting lavender; it's this delicious ingredient that you can't fully describe. It is something you really have to experience for yourself in order to understand what I mean. Haha!

So, the bottom line is if you haven't tried Brutaliteas yet, then you are missing out on some amazing tea, my friend. Like I mentioned above, I have tried their Bananabelle tea, their two limited-edition Valentine's Day teas, their Waking the Lavendar tea, and their My Last Lemonade tea (the last two I haven't reviewed on here yet, but I will soon) and they all have been absolutely delicious. I also have a new one from them, The Walking Ginger Dead (seriously, these names are flipping brilliant), that I'm very excited to try.

If you would like to learn more about them or to try their teas -- by the way, they do have samplers you can try -- just check out their website here. And when you do try them, let me know which flavor you got and what you thought of it. I would love to know! <3 You can either get in touch with me via Facebook, Instagram, or you can email me at [email protected].

Thank you for joining me today! Have a wonderful day and until next time, take care and drink on!

Please note, I am not getting paid to highlight this brand or review their teas. I am just a tea drinker enjoying some tea.
