Early exploration of FC26’s files shows plenty of opportunities to take the game further than EA’s default offering. With the right editing tools and dedicated time investment, I’m confident we can push Career Mode and other areas of FC26 to new heights, delivering more immersion and quality-of-life improvements for players.

Alongside the mods, the FC Preset Loader will return for FC26. This tool was built to help players who don’t enjoy the repetitive steps of reapplying mods and managing mod orders after every update. With reusable templates (presets), you’ll be able to:

It’s a quality-of-life booster that makes handling mods presets more enjoyable.
A Bigger Dream Project
Beyond mods and tools, I’ve been exploring a long-term passion project: building a new offline experience powered by the FC25 / FC26 game engine. Think of it as Football Manager meets Ultimate Team — an ecosystem where:
Matches are simulated or played through FC25 / FC26’s engine
Authentic gameplay drives outcomes
You manage teams with budgets, transfers, and unique rating systems
A dynamic transfer market challenges players to build squads within constraints
The ultimate goal: take your club to domestic or Champions League glory
This will be the biggest project I’ve ever attempted, and while it depends on overcoming technical hurdles (understanding FC’s database structure, compdata files, and scheduling systems), the vision is clear.
