Graphic design as a brand

Graphic design as a brand

Nov 23, 2024

We are all in a wild market, full of noise, advertisements, and slogans. Each of us is trying to connect with our audience, find followers, and satisfy our clients.

Hoping to become successful by tomorrow, we face being ignored, indifference, misunderstanding, and a lack of interest and sales. Algorithms don't work for free. Some fall into the trap of anxious greed, while others keep working late into the night, battling a lack of self-confidence.

Our goal is success.

After finishing teacher's college, I ended up in the hospital. I was diagnosed with a brain condition that made it impossible for me to work as a teacher and take responsibility for children's lives.

My life shattered in an instant. All I had left was a second-hand laptop worth $300 and a used Wacom Intuos M.

And so began my journey in the indifferent market. The only thing I could do was draw a little, though my art was poor. Yet, two guys from the U.S. decided to hire me to draw comics. At the same time, I launched my own project and began earning decent money for my country. While working on my portfolio, I also worked with clients on Upwork and reached TOP-rated status by solving various tasks related to visuals, concepts, and publications.

All I did was draw and play Black Desert and Aion. I also had to take expensive medications.

Time passed, and in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic began, which severely impacted the market. In 2022, a full-scale war broke out in the country where I live.

We couldn’t flee with our 90-year-old grandmother and were caught in constant fighting and missile strikes.

I found myself in a difficult and dangerous situation. Desperate, spending winter without electricity as it had been destroyed, I took the little money that had been donated to me and bought books and courses. Over 6 years of freelancing, I had learned from numerous mistakes and challenges faced by my clients. I mastered new software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Animate, Blender 3D, Spine, and planned to study programming. I read many books on marketing and a few on psychology.

I still had organizational skills from college and university, along with the ability to write scripts. All of this came in handy to understand what clients need and how to help their projects and businesses create an emotional story and visuals that resonate with their audience.

This is how I created this website and opened my own studio, which I am now developing.

Business is like a garden—you plant it, water it, fertilize it, and invite people to come and enjoy it, to find answers to their questions, to be inspired, and to solve their problems.

Success has different meanings: for one person, it's expensive things; for others, it's food, safety, the health of themselves and their loved ones, and free time to live the life they want. My calling is to turn chaos and disorder into a clear and understandable process for your business.

With me, you'll get visuals for your project, brand scripts, content plans, various materials and advice, as well as market analytics in the entertainment industry.
