Hi, I'm Tara a doctoral student by day, and by night I'm down a rabbit hole researching something that probably shouldn't be investigated at midnight.

I'm the host and producer of Psychology of the Strange, a solo narrative podcast on the Dark Cast Network where I explore dark folklore, mythology, true crime, and the psychology of why humans believe what we believe. No debunking, no confirmation just the uncomfortable middle ground where the interesting stuff lives.

Grad school doesn't fund itself, and neither does late-night research into demonic mirrors, feral children, and the psychology of cults.
