Once again, life got in the way and I had to delay my intended release for 0.2.3.
But now it's finally here!
I had to move some of my planned updates for the game in order to have this released sooner. Here's what to expect:
general bug fixes
Shader compilation step added when starting the game
More 3d assets added to the first level
More audio and some existing ones got an update
Proper loading screen for levels
Server side now supports temporary public play sessions
First public demo STARTS NOW and lasts until Wednesday (midnight)
With a special invite for those on Godotforums.org. If you are a member and can beat my score, I will give you a free VIP membership!
Which means you will get behind-closed-doors updates and always access to the latest builds, you will also get a free download of the final game once released on Steam. (Be a member and put your highscore name that matches your username in the forum)
Here's where you can find instructions on how to install the game (itch app)
When public demo is active, you only need to go through step 1 and 2.
Update: Here's some gameplay from the build
Let's go!
Update: With the public session over, here's the scoring result
I'm hoping to have another public play test session in the not-too-distant future. As usual, VIP members will be able to continue to play the game with its upcoming updates.
