The gospel of Jesus Christ advances through the dedication of believers to live as "shining lights" sharing the love and hope of Jesus. This involves actively spreading the message of salvation through personal evangelism, unity among believers, and living in a manner worthy of the gospel, even during suffering or difficult circumstances. It requires intentional, daily sharing of the message that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. Salvation is a free gift from God that cannot be earned through earthly works or deeds.
