"Parallel Realms" is a captivating collage artwork that seamlessly combines vintage Kandy city photographs with symbolic elements, evoking a thought-provoking narrative. At the forefront of the composition, two men are depicted in the act of shaking hands, their presence commanding attention. One of them, enveloped in flickering flames, emanates an aura of intensity and transformation.

The artwork invites viewers to imagine a profound journey—an extraordinary teleportation of these two individuals into the heart of Kandy city. Through the merging of disparate elements, the piece captures the essence of both time and space, merging the past with the present in a powerful visual narrative.

The vintage Kandy city photographs serve as a portal into the rich cultural tapestry of the city. Majestic temples, vibrant markets, and serene landscapes blend harmoniously, symbolizing the depth and allure of Kandy's historical and natural heritage.

The symbolism of the two men and the engulfing flames speaks to broader themes of personal and societal struggles. They represent the challenges faced in seeking authenticity, connection, and meaningful experiences within a world often dominated by superficiality and turmoil. Their presence resonates with the introspective and socially conscious themes explored in Pink Floyd's album "Wish You Were Here."
