Hello Aspirants,
The PRINCE2 Certification Exam got revised from the 6th Edition to the 7th Edition in Sep-23.
Axelos & PeopleCert revises the exam edition every 4-5 years to keep the certification relevant to the industry.
So, if you are planning to write the PRINCE2 Certification Exam in 2024, the 7th Ed. exam suite is the preferable choice.
However, it is important to note that the 6th Ed. exam suite is NOT phased out yet, and you can still choose to qualify yourself as a PRINCE2 Project Manager using the 6th Ed. suite.
In the end, companies doesn't care whether you are a 6th/7th ed. certified project manager...as long as you are able to demonstrate the required skillet of a PRINCE2 certified PM the interview.
But, the 6th ed. will phase out eventually by 2025 (maybe), and the default will be the 7th ed. suite.
So, if you are preparing for the 7th Ed. suite of the PRINCE2 certification exam, I would recommend that you check out the following videos from my YouTube channel which talk about the most important FAQ's of the 7th Ed. Exam.
I am sure that you will find these useful for your exam prep!
