Hello World!
It's December! One more month of 2021. It feels a little crazy. Like most people my brain is still trying to catch up from 2020 even though I'm muddling through this year.
Even though I didn't get much writing done (during NaNoWriMo...go figure) I got a shortish fight scene written and those are not easy for me to write. (And truth be told, I pissed about more with my sword than anything during most of my writing sessions...)
She may not have a cross guard on her right now, but my synthetic beauty is still lovely and perfect for pissing about with, haha. (And sorry about the weird picture. I don't have a lot of space right now.)
I have plans for arty stuff. I just have to get the supplies to see if what I want to do will work and if does I can go into further production! So yay, looking at budgets is in my near future.
I'm still working on getting my new logo how I'll like it. It's just proportions now and whatnot, but if it doesn't look centered it's gonna bug me. And of course, I have my domain, but I'm still working on the website, slow as a snail. I have no idea what I'm doing so I'm hitting a lot of walls and have to figure stuff out. I have some help, but it's still slow going.
Newest of the new! I have a YouTube channel now! I only have one video up and I have no idea how often I'll upload, but I do have some ideas on what I want to do so I'm filming things piece-by-piece and going from there. Since branding isn't done and it's only the one video things are very sparse at the moment, but I'm gettin' there. Things are brewing...here's the link for when they're ready! That's kind of become my mantra. Things are brewing and they'll finish soon.
So yeah, I've been working on some content for that, working on my website, writing little niblets here and there, and planning out my next big projects.
When I was doing things this month it didn't feel like a lot, but as I'm thinking about it now (as one does during the span between Samhain and Yule) it was a lot for me, especially since chunks were in realms where I have no idea what I'm doing so it takes longer. Like, not at all.
