Disclaimer: it should be said, changing settings (such as in about:config here) from default tor browser usage is never recommended officially by tor project, as certain changes can at times have unknown risks in overall analysis.
This is something I wanted for my own interests / use cases. As with anything, may not be ideal for everyone. I'm not concerned this would present any major risks above mixing up the windows, for the overall picture.
CONSIDER: alternatively restarting tor browser (default for changing security settings) may present hypothetical correlation risk for analysis in itself - many theories out there - and always welcome those, especially those that are backed by reality (lots of trolls lately).
Having to switch Tor Browser Security Levels can sometimes be a pain - having to RESTART the entire browser - this means you lose all active windows / tabs of tor Browser in the process, each time you change the security level in tor browser (having to reconnect and all).
Sometimes during OSINT (open source intelligence) investigations, we might opt to switch security levels in Tor Browser - as this can harden your browsing experience (or otherwise un-break websites on more strict settings).
The problem being, countless websites rely on javascript.
And so the safest security settings may not load a page at all.
And otherwise, on a more unknown website - we may want to ensure the highest security settings are turned on.
I wanted to share my simple idea to help you use any Tor Browser security level, anytime you want - even all at once (separate windows).
