Secretary Of State Marco Rubio designated a specific Autistici/Inventati anonymous email provider as 'providing support to leftwing terrorist organizations'.
I've never heard of this organization - have yet to confirm if they knowingly assisting the orgs claimed.
Anytime security & privacy technologies become targets, we should have concerns on if this targeting could expand to other providers / technology.
Is this a true 'terror org' or is this the beginning of the targeting of basic human dignity that is privacy?

Lately we have seen the banning of foreign WiFi Routers (restricting options can make security compromises more likely), banning of foreign off grid power inverters (increases dependence on power grid utility providers - helping the people subsidize AI datacenter power usage by higher power bills), alongside a raft of tariffs making technology more expensive overall.

Conspiracy theory: could the router ban be to secure a new placement of lawful intercept?
