π‘ MAJOR CHANGE
UPDATE: Previous img kernel was (temp) frozen, a temp hold to retain full concentrator and ethernet functionality.
Above mentioned issues are taken care of (fixed) in this latest download, (and in this img) the kernel has been "unfrozen" and upgraded to latest firmware / kernel.
I've been sharing periodic images for the Pine64 PineDio on github / Gitea Onion (Tor Browser Link). The Debian Linux image is (of course) free and open for everyone to download / use (see link for download / checksums down below).

"Server is Other server" Offers Chirpstack Option
Server Channel: Choose Location
Packet Forwarder Config
It is recommended to follow Lup Yuen Lee's guides for configuring your setup. He does great work, and you need to ensure everything matches up, or you won't have the function you desire.
OPTIONAL: Chirpstack Tor Hidden Service Creation (automated)
(adds encryption protecting data / authentication capture on LAN)
This adds encryption (end-to-end between each Tor client), protecting data and credentials from being sniffed over the LAN/network, and allows for easy management worldwide, without need to open firewall/port forwarding (as Tor connects out for this).
(as well as protects the client ip address from the server, and server ip address from the clients)
Alternatively, if Tor Hidden Services aren't for you, and you still would like to add encryption, you can follow the more lengthy configuration here: https://www.chirpstack.io/application-server/install/config/
π§ GITEA ONION / CHIRPSTACK-ONION ?
As a Tor Hidden service, Gitea Onion offers stronger security / integrity (end-to-end encryption between tor clients).
In this way, we have been seeing a "network effect". More and more people are beginning to understand / recognize security benefits of Tor Hidden Services over standard internet https (https with additional trusted 3rd parties to rely on). In addition, Tor hidden services lower security risks of a given server by limiting attack surface on the open internet.
