Hey Supporters!
I wanted to share a sneak peek of a new feature I’ve been building: The Pole Jam Planner.
If you’ve ever met up with a pole pal to train outside of a class, you know that the first 20 minutes are usually spent asking, "So, what do you want to work on?" and trying to remember which moves you both had on your wishlist. This tool takes the memory and guesswork off of your hands so you can get straight to into jamming.
The planner works by comparing two public PoleMovebook profiles. It combs through all the moves on PoleMovebook and splits them into three buckets:
Peer-to-Peer Guidance: Moves that one person has mastered that the other has on their wishlist
Shared Wishlist: Moves that both profiles currently have saved to their wishlist, so you can troubleshoot them together
Ready to Try: These are moves that neither of you has mastered yet, but—based on the other tricks saved to your account—you both have the foundational skills to start practicing safely. This section aims to help you discover new variations and uncommon tricks that you may never have seen before.
I’m currently putting the finishing touches on the mobile UI to make sure it’s easy to use while you're actually at the pole. In the meantime, as a supporter you can get a sneak peek of the feature at this link.
Thanks so much again for contributing to PoleMovebook! It’s what allows for costlier features like this to become real life :)
