We're Mat and John, and we started this show because the plastic and climate story is usually told as guilt and doom - and we think that's only half of it. The other half is the people quietly building the way out: the founders, scientists, engineers, policymakers and investors turning one of the planet's biggest problems into one of its biggest opportunities.
Every episode, we sit down with them for an honest, curious, jargon-free conversation about how we actually get to a circular future - whether you're a materials expert, an investor, a student, or simply someone tired of seeing plastic wash up where it shouldn't.
We do this because we love it. Recording is the fun part - but the editing, production and all the unglamorous work behind a good episode takes real time and money, and we keep the show free and independent for everyone who listens.
