As we know from earlier posts, as House Blue began to conquer the surrounding systems, their ships grew larger and larger, reaching a scale beyond which even the Den’Shar could never match. These colossal ships were powered by immense time drives, harvesting more and more time from the living spine of time.
This had an unforeseen effect on the living, conscious ships. It began to split some of their personalities, creating hostile, unpredictable mad ships. However, these ships also gained immense wisdom and the ability of prophecy. For the harvested time broke not just their minds but also the way those minds viewed the spine of time.
These ships became known as ‘Prophet Ships’, sought out by many who wished for insights and intense wisdom. But the discovery was seldom survived.
There was once a warlord once who enslaved a prophet ship and used it to guide his strategy. But that tale is still ahead of us.
