Watercolor and Gouache Paintings
Welcome. I'm Pinkyhoot, a Chinese American visual artist and content creator based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
My art style blends feminine surrealism, emotional storytelling, and potent symbolic imagery to create introspective dreamscapes. My surreal watercolor and gouache floral art explores the inner landscapes of thought and emotion, revealing how these internal worlds shape who we are.
My creative process typically begins with pen sketches, evolves through various rounds of digital manipulation, and finally culminates in ethereal expressions on paper.
Ultimately, my cerebral art is created for kindred spirits—particularly high-achieving women, mindful empaths, and anyone who finds solace or connection in introspective work. I hope my art offers you a moment to pause, reflect, and find calm amidst life's demands.
As an Asian female artist, I challenge stereotypes while championing freedom from perfection and embracing vulnerability as a portal to strength rather than a weakness. Through my visuals and public speaking (including X Spaces and podcasts), I invite viewers to embrace self-acceptance and see themselves more fully.
My surreal art has been exhibited internationally and featured digitally. I invite you to explore my world further through the links below. Want exclusive discounts, early access to new drops, and behind-the-scenes peeks? Join my VIP list👇!
