Hello! I'm Rochelle, an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) based in Dubai, UAE. I run a blog called PinayHakawati which means a lady from the Philippines (Pinay) and a storyteller (Hakawati).

My blog is where I document my passion for hiking and travel, sometimes inside the UAE but mostly outside the UAE. The documentation that I do has evolved into a form of resources that you can use as references.

These resources includes the following:

TRAVEL:

• Visa Guides (mainly for Philippine Passport Holders unless stated otherwise)
• Accommodation Archives (technically not a review but sharing the profile of the property and its services)
• How to Guides (anything under the sun - for example, how to go to Bishkek City Center from Manas International Airport, Day Trip to Bethlehem from Jerusalem by Public Transportation, Kyrgyzstan's Fairy Tale Canyon Skazka Canyon by Marshrutka, and so on)
• And some sort of travel stories here and there.

HIKING:

• Hiking Guides (the aspiring bread and butter of my blog, it's about overview of trails, logistics and transportation, sections and/or highlight of trails and contact persons/organizations who can help you arrange your hike)
• Gear Reviews (99% of the gears I owned are bought using my own money unless stated otherwise, which is very rare)
• And some hiking accounts whenever I go with my hiking family based in Ras Al Khaimah called FOX.AE

I do not travel full time and I am not planning to be one anytime soon. These resources are my way of giving back to everyone as I also collect bits of information from fellow bloggers and then combined with my own experiences. Hence, I do not own 100% of these information and I am not selling them.
