How one of the UK's biggest companies will gaslight you over a police report!

Huge Hotel Companies Operation Manager Denies Police Report After Admitting All! 
 

The Operations Manager’s gaslighting lies in order they are stated in the conclusion to the grievances I put in against him and 5 other Head of Departments's and General Manager! 

             Lie 1: 

            Operations Manager denies management had barred the children, and said it was just me who had barred them as there was no evidence of them having sex in the toilets, 

The relief manager and myself barred the youngsters earlier that year in the presence of the Operations Manager. He asked him at the time to get a good picture of the couple on CCTV so all staff would know they are barred, however, he said he couldn't get a decent view of the couples faces; to which myself and the relief manager looked at each other confused as the couple were in view of many CCTV cameras in the middle of reception foyer for 5 minutes! 

          Lie 2: 

         The Operations Manager said; 

        "I had seen the children sitting having a drink and started screaming at them". 

         He wasn't present during the incident and arrived on the scene at the same time the police did.  He did however see me on CCTV approach the children as they entered the hotel and calmly ushered them out whilst they were shouting at and threatening me. 

Lie 3: 

 The Operations Manager states that "I was screaming at them to leave the hotel, which was when the glass got smashed" 

 
He operated the CCTV for the police which showed the boy running back to the hotel and smashing the window with a beer can in his hand, remember he wasn't present during the incident and there is no sound on the CCTV, so he only saw exactly what the police verified. 

 
  Lie 4: 

      The Operations Manager says the children were only barred after the glass got broke, but he wasn't even there to bar them or to hear anyone else bar them! 

 
 Lie 5: 

     The Operations Manager said “He had no knowledge of the teenagers threatening to come back and slice me up" and found it strange I hadn't mentioned it.  

       This was fully discussed with the police whilst he was present and is written in the Police Incident report by the female officer who interpreted it as “he wanted to fight me”. 

 
 Lie 6: 

  The Operations Manager states he has no knowledge of the police coming in to check CCTV. 

He obviously doesn't know that people who do police incident reports are allowed access to them! 

Summary:

  His tirade of lies therefore are in hope that none of what he said to the police would be made public! 

  That of telling them after I'd told police that the couple had frequented the disabled toilets for a couple of years that; 

"The boy's mother had come in to see him several times over the years to get them unbarred as they needed somewhere to stay after school"! (Whilst the girl’s father is drinking on the hotels’ lawn from school closing time, and they live closer to her school than the hotel)! 

Attention was immediately taken away from this when the CCTV The Operations Manager was operating showed the boy smashing the window with a beer can. The police intently wanted to know if the can had been bought at the hotel, and on close inspection it looked like a can of Carling which the Hotel didn't sell.  

With that resolved, the female officer then took me away to write my statement. 

The police were at the hotel for exactly two hours, but it took The Operations Manager another three weeks before he downloaded a copy of the CCTV for the police - all which he has forgotten about! 

About two weeks after the incident (and one week before the police were given a copy of the CCTV) the area manager arrived and went straight into one of the large conference rooms. I walked past soon after and I saw the six and a half foot, 25 stone Area Manager going apoplectic towards him (but shouting under his breath so I couldn't hear what was said), whilst The Operations Manager sat motionless across the table from him! 

When taken to court the Judge opened proceedings with 

"So, Mr Brindley you're saying The Operations manager has told you the Hotel is facilitating 'child sex' 

To which I replied: 

"No, He's told the Police that he is; after I'd told them the couple had frequented the hotel disabled toilets for sex.  

He told them he met up with the mother of a barred many times between the ages of 15-17-year-old male, who was caught leaving used condoms on show after coming out of the disabled toilet with a girl since she was aged 12 or 13!  He then let them back in the hotel, where they continued accessing the disabled toilets together, despite continually getting barred for at least two years!" 

 
 To which the Judge says  

"Where does it say that" 

Which I replied  

"In the opening paragraph" 

To which the Judge shuffled his papers around, mumbled a bit and then said: 

"So, he hasn't told you, he's told the police, therefore you can't bring to court anything to do with this part of the claim or anything associated with". 

To which I replied 

"That's why I've bought the police to court to explain themselves"

&

"Where does it say that he has told me and not the police? 

To which he shuffled his papers and mumbled a bit more and then came back with again: 

 
 "He hasn't told you, he's told the Police, therefore you can't have anything to do with this part of the claim". 

To which I I said: 

"What do you mean I can't have anything to do with that when it was you who misread it" 

To which he replied: 

"We haven't got time to keep going through this as we've a lot to go through". 

As you can imagine I wouldn't let that lie and told the judge that The Operations Manager has lied about everything connected to Police verified evidence, and so not allowing this evidence makes you complicit! 

The Judge wasn't too happy about that and told me "If I continued, I'd be charged with contempt of court", which after three warnings of I did have to keep quiet as it became clear I'd got no chance of a fair hearing. 

 As you'll see in the Preliminary Hearing report though the judge still wrote that I'd 'reported to police that the Respondent was allowing children to have sex in the hotel's toilets'!  

When it's The Operations Manager who'd told police he'd met up with the boy's mother to get them unbarred "as they wouldn't do it again” - but he didn't tell me or anyone else he'd unbarred them!
