Christ is the LORD of all starts and finishes. Beginning to end, He has a vision for you, your business, your family, your ……… He has solutions to every problem. He has a path of success in every endeavor.
How do I get in the groove?
One of the rascally roots of anger and frustration is breaking the chains of indecision and failed decisions and rudely interrupted decisions.
Take a moment and consider these truths
• And God placed all things under his (Christ’s) feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way (Ephesians.1:22, 23).
• And he [Christ] is the head of the body, the church . (Colossians 1:18)
• During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them. ( Acts 16:9-10)
Now, Paul had a heart fix on making something happen. Right in the middle of chasing his dream, he was diverted. Ouch! Been there. Done that. Pissed me off.
Wait. This diversion was for his good and the good of others. That is not easy to see at the time or even later. But by surrendering to Jesus, Paul finds good progress and overcomes what had to be a big disappointment at the moment.
Take a few minutes to consider how this applies to your life right now. Examine a point of diversion that still makes you angry. Surrender to the present moment.
Submit the disappointment to the fact that Jesus is the Boss and He will make needed adjustments to get you success.
Follow through on writing down His vision for your life, family, business or other area to which He has called you to lead. Don't give up on it. Document it. Focus in obedience. Release the disappointment as a temporary blip and rest in His next step.
