I am Faruk, a researcher and the creator of PhDplanner.com. This is a free platform that helps PhD students in Sweden find courses, plan their defence, and stay on top of academic requirements.

I built PhDplanner after struggling to keep track of courses and deadlines during my own doctoral journey. Today the site offers over 700 courses from 16 universities, automated defence planning for each institution, and other tools that save time and reduce stress for students and supervisors.

I run PhDplanner in my spare time with no external funding. Your support helps cover server costs, maintain accurate information, and add new features that benefit the PhD community.
