Hello dear friends!
My name is Dr. Clown Pēteris – one of those hospital clowns who walks into the room with a red nose, carries joy in every pocket, and helps children, parents and medical staff breathe a little easier when life feels heavy.

In March 2026, one of the most important global events for healthcare clowning will take place: HCIM 2026 – the Healthcare Clowning International Meeting in Switzerland.
It brings together artists, medical professionals, researchers and organizations from all over the world.

For me, this is an incredible opportunity to grow, learn, recharge and bring new skills back to the hospital in Latvia.

HCIM is a place where I can:

This conference happens only once every four years, and participation is truly an honor.

💛 Why I need your support

The work of a hospital clown is heart-driven, based on compassion, presence and human connection.
Much of this work is made possible thanks to public support and donations.

I’m not asking help “for myself.”
I’m asking support for the joy, play and emotional relief that we bring to children every day.

The total cost of participation is around 1500 EUR (travel + conference fee + basic stay).
Part of it will be covered by the organization –
but the remaining amount I need to raise through kind supporters like you.
