In vanilla Minecraft, slabs look like perfectly good building surfaces—until a torch refuses to place, a lantern floats, or the crosshair targets empty air.
Slabbed makes slabs behave more like the surfaces builders expect:
• torches, lanterns, chains, flower pots, doors, beds, crafting blocks, and many other supported objects can sit flush on slab tops;
• full blocks and supported objects stack more naturally on slab-built structures;
• the visible model, selection outline, and interaction target work to stay in the same place;
• optional Countered's Terrain Slabs compatibility turns terrain slabs into usable support too;
• builds are available across Minecraft 26.x, 1.21.11, and 1.21.1, with Fabric and NeoForge availability depending on the version.
Slabbed is still beta because Minecraft makes this deceptively complicated. I expand support carefully, one behavior family at a time, and every useful screenshot, video, and weird edge case helps.

Tips help me keep testing all the tiny interactions that make slab-supported building feel natural. Less floating, less fussing, more slab. :3
