MIDICar Player

The best MIDI player for the small Atari :)

The project has been in development for more than a year. It evolved as a result of the creation of a MIDI interface for the Atari 8-bit computer, whose creator is Blażej "Pancio" Biernat.
Currently, it supports three MIDI interfaces that have been created, i.e. MIDICar as an ECI/Cart device, as well as MIDIBox and MIDIMate, connected to the SIO serial socket.

The latest version of the player allows:

• give long names to works by using the file DESCRIPT.ION


• create playlists (files with extension PLS in a structure identical to DESCRIPT.ION)

• Support for MIDICar Remote.

• MINI mode - without track list

The program won the ABBUC 2022 Software competition in the Application Utilites category.
