PCT Activity is a public records archive for Polk County, Texas. I request documents from the Sheriff's Office, Commissioners Court, the district attorney and the cities around the county, then publish them so anyone can read them without paying or registering.
Texas law lets agencies bill for copying and for the hours staff spend on redactions. Some of those bills run into the hundreds. I cover them myself, and when I can't, the request usually doesn't happen. Support here goes toward the ones I'd otherwise drop.
