Are you tired of our government offering nothing more than hollow words to those who've been harmed most by colonization?  Are you horrified by what's been done and what's being done on our behalf?

Well, so are we.  We're tired of waiting for the government to do the right thing in regards to reparations so we're doing what we can on our own.

We call it micro-reparations.  It's an opportunity to make a few things right, while we're waiting for government to do their part.

The Indigenous Peoples living in Winnipeg are bearing the brunt of the commodification of the swindled lands of Treaty 1 Territory, and it doesn't have to be that way. 

We're teaming up here in Winnipeg, working together to pay an Indigenous family's rent for a year.  We're giving settlers an opportunity to open their chequebooks and we're returning some peace of mind to those who've had that restfulness denied.  This isn't charity.  It's micro-reparations.

Come join us.  Join the pay the rent club and spread the word.  Hey, maybe this idea will catch on in other cities.  When a majority of Canadians, by their day to day activities, are showing they care deeply about reparations, nothing our government fails to do will be able to prevent things from changing.  It sounds great in theory so let's test that out.
